Skills & Tech Expertise
My background is in system & network administration.
On the networking side, I had prepared enough to pass the CCNA exam, but I didn't take it (yet).
On the systems side, I have a variety of experience which is listed below.
Currently I am in the mainframe field.
- Mainframe: WLM, RACF and more (mainly automation)
- Programming Languages: JCL, COBOL, REXX and a bit of: Java, Python, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
- Infrastructure: Server administration, automation, security, linux, virtualization, and more.
- Networking: Network configuration, routing, switching, firewalling, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANS, and more.
I have mentioned some of my skills above, but that does not mean that I am an expert. I am always learning and trying to improve myself.
My main interests are currently:
- Mainframes,
- Ansible automation on z/OS,
- RACF security,
- Astronomy,
- trying to learn new things,
- and making this website better
